The HORIBA Polispectra® RPR for HTS is a high-throughput Raman plate reader designed for pharmaceutical and biomedical screening applications, enabling label-free Raman analysis of samples in standard microplates.
The HORIBA Polispectra® RPR (Raman Plate Reader) for HTS (High-Throughput Screening) is a specialized Raman spectroscopy system configured for gigh-throughput, plate-based analysis in pharmaceutical discovery, biomedical research, and quality control applications. The system reads standard microplates (96-well, 384-well) using confocal Raman spectroscopy in an automated format, providing label-free molecular fingerprint information from hundreds to thousands of samples without the need for fluorescent labels or other chemical modifications. This makes it particularly valuable in drug discovery workflows where label-free characterization of compound libraries, cell assays, or formulation screening is needed. The Raman approach provides information-rich spectra that allow chemometric differentiation of sample classes, monitoring of chemical changes, and identification of outliers in large datasets. The system can be used for screening of cell lines, bacterial cultures, pharmaceutical formulations, lipid nanoparticles, and protein aggregation studies. Integration with laboratory automation (robotic plate handlers) is possible for fully automated high-throughput workflows. NewRoad provides the HORIBA Polispectra® RPR for HTS in Israel for pharmaceutical research and biomedical screening laboratories.
