Partica mini LA-350

The HORIBA Partica mini LA-350 is a compact, affordable laser diffraction particle size analyzer designed for laboratory and quality control environments where bench space is limited and a cost-effective solution is required without sacrificing measurement performance. The LA-350 measures particle size distributions from 10 nm to 3500 µm using laser diffraction with Mie scattering theory, covering the vast majority of particle size measurement needs in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and materials science applications. Despite its compact form factor, the Partica mini LA-350 maintains high measurement accuracy and reproducibility through HORIBA’s well-established laser diffraction optical design. It features a built-in ultrasonic dispersion unit in the wet dispersion cell to break up agglomerates before measurement, ensuring representative size distributions. The instrument includes both wet and dry measurement capabilities in a single unit. The LA-350 uses HORIBA’s ParticleSolution software with an intuitive interface designed for straightforward method development and routine QC measurement.
