The MinusK MK26 is a medium-format negative-stiffness vibration isolation table providing 0.5 Hz passive isolation for AFMs, STMs, and optical systems requiring a stable, vibration-free platform.
The MinusK MK26 is a medium-format vibration isolation table based on MinusK Technology’s patented negative-stiffness mechanism. It provides 0.5 Hz natural frequency isolation in all axes, offering a balance between platform size and compact footprint that suits a wide range of laboratory instruments. The MK26 is appropriate for instruments such as atomic force microscopes, scanning tunneling microscopes, optical microscopes, nano-indentation systems, and similar instruments where a medium-size platform provides sufficient space for the instrument and its immediate accessories. The negative-stiffness mechanism outperforms pneumatic air tables in the most critical low-frequency range, with vibration transmissibility dropping below air tables at frequencies as low as 0.7 Hz and continuing to offer superior isolation throughout the 1-100 Hz range. The MK26 requires no external utilities and is maintenance-free. NewRoad provides the MinusK MK26 in Israel for scanning probe microscopy, optical, and precision measurement research groups.
