The MinusK CT-10 is a high-performance compact vibration isolation table based on MinusK Technology’s patented negative-stiffness mechanism. Unlike conventional pneumatic or passive rubber isolators, negative-stiffness technology achieves an ultra-low natural frequency of 0.5 Hz in both horizontal and vertical axes without requiring compressed air, electricity, or active control. This provides exceptional vibration isolation efficiency beginning at frequencies above approximately 0.7 Hz – far better than air tables (typically 1.5-2 Hz) and rubber pads. The CT-10 is designed for sensitive instrumentation including atomic force microscopes, scanning probe microscopes, optical microscopes, microbalances, and interferometers where even sub-nanometer floor vibrations can compromise measurement quality. Its compact benchtop design allows installation in space-constrained laboratories without sacrificing performance. The CT-10 requires no external utilities, has no moving parts subject to wear, and provides drift-free stable support.
