CM-1

The MinusK CM-1 is a compact, self-contained vibration isolation module based on MinusK Technology’s patented negative-stiffness mechanism. The CM-1 provides 0.5 Hz natural frequency isolation in both vertical and horizontal axes in a compact package, making it highly versatile for use under a wide range of precision instruments. The compact format allows it to be placed directly under an instrument or instrument platform, offering significant flexibility in laboratory configuration. The negative-stiffness mechanism provides far better vibration isolation than conventional isolators at low frequencies – the key frequency range where building and equipment vibrations cause most problems for nanoscale measurements.
