The HORIBA DeltaPro is an ultrafast TCSPC fluorescence lifetime system with picosecond time resolution for measuring ultrafast photophysical processes in molecular systems, quantum dots, and photovoltaic materials.
The HORIBA DeltaPro is an advanced TCSPC (time-correlated single photon counting) fluorescence lifetime system designed for measurements requiring the highest time resolution – down to picoseconds – for ultrafast photophysical processes. The DeltaPro is optimized for characterizing energy transfer dynamics, charge separation in photovoltaic materials, exciton dynamics in quantum dots and perovskites, radiative decay in organic emitters, and any fluorescence system where temporal resolution at the sub-100 ps level is needed. The system uses HORIBA’s fastest TCSPC electronics and is compatible with femtosecond laser systems for sub-picosecond instrument response function (IRF) when used with appropriate detector modules. Multiple detector options are available including fast red-sensitive PMT, microchannel plate PMT (MCP-PMT) for maximum time resolution, and single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) for NIR lifetime measurements. The DeltaPro is also used for characterizing TADF (thermally activated delayed fluorescence) emitters where the TADF lifetime is a critical parameter for OLED device performance. Full automation and integration with HORIBA’s fluorescence software allows complete photophysical characterization workflows. NewRoad provides the HORIBA DeltaPro in Israel for photovoltaics, quantum dot, OLED materials, and ultrafast photophysics research groups.
