Vacuum Components

Optosigma Vacuum-Compatible Optomechanical Components are mirror mounts, lens mounts, translation stages, and posts designed for use in high-vacuum (HV) and ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) environments, built with low-outgassing materials and no trapped volumes.

overview

about this product

Optosigma Vacuum-Compatible Optomechanical Components are engineered versions of standard mirror mounts, lens holders, posts, and positioning equipment designed for use inside vacuum chambers in HV (below 1e-6 mbar) and UHV (below 1e-9 mbar) environments.

Design features for vacuum compatibility:
– Low-outgassing materials: aluminum (electropolished or passivated), titanium, and stainless steel; no plastics or organic lubricants
– Vented screws and bodies: axial or lateral vents through fasteners and housing walls to prevent trapped gas volumes
– Vacuum-grade lubricants: dry lubricants (MoS2) or vacuum-compatible greases for adjustment mechanisms that require lubrication
– Baked-out parts: components supplied pre-baked (typically at 120-150 degrees C) for UHV use

Product types:
– Vacuum mirror mounts: kinematic 2-axis adjustable mounts for use inside vacuum chambers; adjustment via differentially pumped feedthroughs or in-vacuum actuators
– Vacuum lens holders: fixed and adjustable holders for windows, lenses, and filters inside vacuum chambers
– Vacuum posts and bases: mounting hardware for building optomechanical setups inside chambers
– Vacuum-compatible translation stages: manual and motorized (compatible with in-vacuum stepper or piezo actuators)

NewRoad provides Optosigma vacuum-compatible optomechanics in Israel for ion traps, laser-atom interaction experiments, UHV surface science, and vacuum laser beam delivery.

WHY CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT

True UHV compatibility – electropolished aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel; vented screws; no plastic or organic lubricants Pre-baked option – components supplied at 150 degrees C bake-out for immediate UHV insertion Vacuum kinematic mounts – 2-axis mirror alignment inside chamber; adjustment via feedthroughs or in-vacuum actuators Dry-lubricated adjustments – MoS2 or vacuum-compatible lubricants for smooth operation without contamination ISRAEL availability – NewRoad stocks Optosigma vacuum optomechanics for ion traps, surface science, and vacuum laser setups
