overview

about this product

Optosigma Optical Power and Energy Measurement systems provide traceable measurement of laser output power and pulse energy across a wide range of wavelengths and power levels.

Photodiode power sensors:
– Silicon (Si) photodiodes: 190 nm to 1100 nm; power range 1 nW to 200 mW
– Germanium (Ge) photodiodes: 700 nm to 1800 nm; suited for telecom and NIR lasers
– InGaAs photodiodes: 800 nm to 1700 nm; low noise for CW single-mode fiber output measurement
– Calibrated with NIST-traceable standards; uncertainty below 3%

Thermal power heads:
– Broadband absorption coating: 190 nm to 20 um; flat spectral response
– Power ranges: 30 mW to 30 W per head; higher power with attenuator
– Response time: 1 to 5 seconds to 95% reading (thermal equilibrium)
– Used when absolute accuracy is required or photodiode saturation is a risk

Pyroelectric energy sensors:
– For pulsed lasers: Nd:YAG, CO2, excimer, fs/ps laser systems
– Energy range: 1 uJ to 2 J per pulse
– Repetition rate: up to 25 kHz
– Wavelength: 190 nm to 20 um with appropriate window

Power meters (displays and controllers):
– Digital display with USB and RS-232 output
– Auto-range, min/max, statistics, data logging
– Compatible with all Optosigma power and energy heads

NewRoad provides Optosigma power and energy meters in Israel for laser characterization, optical system calibration, and process monitoring in research and industrial labs.
