OptoSigma by Yamamoto laser safety product line is a trusted name in the laser safety industry. Our laser goggles are extensively tested to ensure you get the maximum protection. We offer a wide variety of styles, types, and wavelength coverage to choose from. The frames have multiple adjustments to enable tight fitting protection and comfort
Optosigma Laser Protective Eyewear are CE- and ANSI Z136-compliant laser safety goggles and glasses with wavelength-specific optical density filters protecting against accidental exposure from UV, visible, and IR lasers.
Optosigma Laser Protective Eyewear – made by YAMAMOTO Japan – provides personal eye protection for laser lab workers, complying with CE EN 207 (European) and ANSI Z136.1 (US) laser safety standards. Selection depends on laser wavelength and maximum output power.
Optical density and wavelength ranges:
– UV goggles (190-380 nm), for excimer, frequency-tripled Nd:YAG (355 nm), HeCd (325 nm)
– Visible goggles by wavelength: Green 532 nm, for Nd:YAG second harmonic, Red 633-660 nm, for He-Ne and red diode lasers, NIR 780-1064 nm, for Nd:YAG, diode, Ti:Sapphire
– Broadband goggles: single pair covers multiple wavelength ranges (e.g. 532+1064 nm)
– CO2 10.6 um: polycarbonate lens; OD 4+ at 10.6 um
Frame styles:
– Goggle (wraparound): full side protection; recommended for high-power class 4 laser work
– Safety glasses (fit over): wear over prescription glasses; lower side protection
– Lightweight frames for extended wear in spectroscopy and microscopy labs
Compliance markings:
– CE EN 207 marking with scale number (L or D rated)
– Optical density and wavelength range printed on lens
– Visible light transmission: typically 20-60% for operator visibility
All items are made in Japan.
CE EN 207 compliant – certified to European laser eyewear standard; required for ISO 11553 compliant laser workplace
Wavelength.
Also available; Wraparound goggle frame – full side protection for high-power Class 4 lasers where direct and scattered beams are hazardous
