Optosigma Frameless Mirrors are thin, lightweight mirror substrates without conventional mirror mounts, designed for integration into custom optomechanical assemblies, laser cavities, and OEM optical systems where standard mounted mirrors are too bulky or heavy.
Optosigma Frameless Mirrors are precision-coated mirror substrates supplied without a standard holder or mount, intended for OEM integration and custom optical assembly where the designer specifies the mounting interface. The substrate provides the reflective surface; the integrator controls the mechanical interface.
Substrate materials:
– BK7 borosilicate glass: standard for visible and NIR applications
– Fused silica: for UV and high-power laser applications with low absorption
– Zerodur: zero thermal expansion coefficient; for thermally stable laser cavities and interferometry
Coating types match the full Optosigma mirror catalog:
– Protected aluminum: broadband UV-NIR (250-900 nm)
– Protected silver: high reflectance visible-NIR (400-2000 nm)
– Protected gold: NIR-MIR and CO2 laser (above 600 nm, over 96% from 800 nm)
– Dielectric HR: laser-line high-reflectance coatings (over 99.5% R) at 355, 532, 1064 nm and other wavelengths
Sizes and shapes: circular, rectangular, and custom; thicknesses from 1 mm to 10+ mm depending on size and application.
