Optosigma Filters are precision optical filters for wavelength selection, including longpass, shortpass, bandpass, neutral density, notch, and laser line filters for spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, laser systems, and imaging applications.
Optosigma Filters select specific wavelength ranges for laser systems, spectroscopy, imaging, and fluorescence microscopy. Available types span interference filters (hard-coated) and colored glass filters in standard and custom dimensions.
Filter types from Optosigma:
– Longpass filters: transmit wavelengths above the cut-on; used to block laser excitation in fluorescence and Raman
– Shortpass filters: transmit wavelengths below the cut-off; used to block IR in imaging systems
– Bandpass filters: transmit a defined wavelength band; available as narrow (less than 10 nm FWHM) and broadband versions
– Neutral density (ND) filters: uniform attenuation across visible spectrum; available in OD 0.1 to 4.0; used for laser power control
– Notch filters: block a narrow laser line while transmitting surrounding wavelengths; used in Raman spectroscopy
– Laser line filters: narrow bandpass centered on laser emission lines (405, 488, 532, 633, 785 nm and others)
All interference filters feature hard-coated dielectric stacks on glass substrates; performance is angle-sensitive. Colored glass filters provide stable, angle-insensitive attenuation over broad spectral ranges.
