FUTEK Screwdriver torque sensors are compact reaction torque transducers optimized for measuring the output torque of electric screwdrivers, nutrunners, and precision fastening tools during assembly operations, calibration, and quality control, with a shaft-compatible interface for direct tool engagement.
FUTEK Screwdriver torque sensors are reaction torque transducers specifically designed for measuring the torque output of powered and manual fastening tools — electric screwdrivers, nutrunners, air tools, cordless drivers, and torque screwdrivers. The sensor provides a reaction point against which the tool output torque is measured when the tool is engaged with a fastener or test fixture through the sensor’s square or hex drive interface.
The compact form factor allows these sensors to be mounted in benchtop calibration fixtures, pass-through test stations on assembly lines, and portable calibration setups. The stiff torsion element minimizes deflection and ensures that the tool operates against a near-rigid reaction, preserving realistic tool behavior during measurement. Full Wheatstone bridge strain gauge construction, temperature compensation, and precision machining provide the accuracy and repeatability needed for tool calibration to ISO/ANSI standards.
FUTEK Screwdriver torque sensors are available in capacities from sub-Newton·meter precision screwdriver ranges up to several tens of Newton·meters for heavy-duty assembly tools. Standard mV/V output works with FUTEK’s USB amplifiers for PC-based calibration; conditioned output versions provide analog voltage or current for PLC integration in automated tool testing lines. Some models include a pass-through bore allowing a fastener to engage during rundown torque measurement.
Typical applications include torque wrench and screwdriver calibration per ISO 6789, monitoring tightening torque on production assembly lines, qualifying replacement or repaired assembly tools, and R&D characterization of new fastening tool designs. NewRoad provides FUTEK Screwdriver torque sensors in Israel for assembly line QC, tool calibration laboratories, and industrial fastening process validation.
