The BioLogic CCH-8 is an 8-channel connection hub accessory designed to interface a single BioLogic multi-channel potentiostat or galvanostat with up to 8 independent electrochemical cells or sample holders. The CCH-8 enables automated measurement scheduling across multiple cells — the instrument can sequence through cells automatically, performing the same measurement protocol on each cell sequentially, or select specific cells for measurement based on software scheduling.

This multi-cell hub capability dramatically increases the throughput of electrochemical screening and characterization workflows where the same measurement must be performed on multiple samples — for example, corrosion testing of multiple alloy samples, battery formation cycling across multiple cells, electrocatalyst screening across a library of compositions, or coatings quality control across multiple test coupons. Without the CCH-8, each cell would require manual cable reconnection and manual experiment restart, limiting daily throughput and introducing human variability.

The CCH-8 maintains the full measurement capability of the connected potentiostat channel — including EIS capability if the instrument supports it — at each of the 8 cell positions. The switching is performed electronically under EC-Lab software control, and measurement scheduling, cell selection, and data file management are all handled automatically within the EC-Lab environment.
