The BioLogic HCV-3048 is a high-current, high-compliance-voltage booster module that extends the capability of compatible BioLogic potentiostat systems to provide up to 48A of output current at a 30V compliance voltage. This combination of high current and extended compliance voltage makes the HCV-3048 particularly suited for electrochemical testing applications where both higher current and higher voltage headroom are required simultaneously.
The 30V compliance voltage of the HCV-3048 accommodates multi-cell battery stack measurements, high-voltage electrochemical synthesis reactions in non-aqueous electrolytes, and testing of electrochemical devices that operate at voltages beyond what a standard potentiostat compliance voltage can cover. The 48A current capability, combined with this voltage range, enables testing of higher-capacity battery modules, stack electrolysis systems, and other high-power electrochemical systems. Like all BioLogic booster modules, the HCV-3048 is controlled via EC-Lab software, providing the full BioLogic technique library at these extended current and voltage levels.
