The BioLogic VSP-3e is the next-generation evolution of the VSP modular multi-channel potentiostat, offering up to four independent electrochemical channels with enhanced specifications including improved EIS performance, lower current resolution, and updated electronics, maintaining the VSP platform’s proven modularity and EC-Lab software compatibility.
The BioLogic VSP-3e is the current-generation version of BioLogic’s VSP modular multi-channel potentiostat platform, offering up to four independent potentiostat/galvanostat channels in a single chassis with enhanced measurement performance compared to the original VSP.
The VSP-3e retains all the key features of the VSP platform — the modular slot-based channel architecture that allows incremental expansion from one to four channels, the ability to run completely independent experiments simultaneously on each channel, unified EC-Lab software control, and channel coupling for multi-cell stack measurements — while delivering improved electrochemical measurement performance. The enhanced electronics in the VSP-3e provide better EIS performance (extended frequency range, improved phase accuracy at high frequencies), lower current resolution for more accurate measurement of small electrochemical signals, and an updated analog design that reduces noise and drift in demanding low-current and long-term measurement scenarios.
These improvements make the VSP-3e the preferred choice for multi-channel electrochemical experiments that require both the throughput advantage of simultaneous multi-sample measurement and the measurement quality needed for publication-quality EIS data, detailed electrode kinetics studies, or accurate long-term battery cycling with precise coulombic efficiency tracking. Like all BioLogic instruments, the VSP-3e is controlled via EC-Lab, providing access to BioLogic’s full technique library.
