Optosigma Laser Shield Window Film is a self-adhesive polyester film applied to glass windows to block specific laser wavelengths, converting standard lab windows into laser safety barriers without replacing the glass.
Optosigma Laser Shield Window Film upgrades existing lab windows to laser safety windows by applying a certified film directly to glass.
Film types by wavelength:
– UV blocking film (190-380 nm): OD 4+ at target wavelength; visible transmittance 60-80%
– Green blocking film (532 nm): OD 5+ for Nd:YAG second harmonic and green DPSS lasers
– Red/NIR blocking film (650-1100 nm): OD 4-5 for He-Ne, diode, Nd:YAG fundamental
– Broadband IR film (780-1100 nm): covers full NIR range
Installation:
– Self-adhesive polyester; apply to clean glass with squeegee; no special tools
– Thickness 0.1-0.2 mm; sizes: 1 m wide rolls, pre-cut panels up to 1×1.5 m
– Operating temperature: -10 to +60 C
– Removable without adhesive residue
Performance:
– OD certified per EN 207 at specified wavelength
– Suitable for observation and control room windows facing laser labs; perimeter windows
– Does not replace certified safety windows in direct beam areas
