Optosigma Windows and Substrates are flat optical elements with parallel faces used as vacuum viewports, laser entrance windows, cuvette windows, and substrate blanks for thin-film deposition, available in BK7, fused silica, CaF2, MgF2, and ZnSe for UV through mid-IR applications.
Optosigma Windows and Substrates are precision-polished flat optical elements with parallel faces used as protective windows, vacuum viewports, cuvette windows, beam sampling elements, and substrates for thin-film deposition. Available in a broad range of optical materials covering UV through mid-IR.
Materials and spectral ranges:
– BK7 borosilicate glass: 330-2100 nm; general-purpose visible and NIR windows
– UV-grade fused silica: 180-2100 nm; UV laser windows and high-power laser applications
– CaF2 (calcium fluoride): 130-9000 nm; UV through mid-IR; used in FTIR and deep-UV applications
– MgF2 (magnesium fluoride): 120-7000 nm; VUV and UV laser windows
– ZnSe (zinc selenide): 500-20000 nm; CO2 laser (10600 nm) windows; standard for IR beam delivery
– N-BK7 and optical glass: standard imaging and illumination windows
All windows are polished to specified surface flatness and surface quality (scratch-dig); AR coatings available to reduce Fresnel reflection losses.
