FUTEK Strain-Gauge Analog Amplifiers are signal conditioning instruments that accept the millivolt-per-volt bridge output from FUTEK load cells, torque sensors, and pressure transducers and amplify it to a full-scale conditioned analog voltage — typically 0–5V, ±5V, 0–10V, or 4–20 mA — for direct interface with PLCs, data acquisition systems, and analog controllers.

FUTEK Strain-Gauge Analog Amplifiers are signal conditioning modules that take the raw millivolt-level differential bridge output from strain gauge transducers — load cells, torque sensors, pressure transducers, and multi-axis force/torque sensors — and amplify it to a conditioned, buffered analog voltage or current output suitable for direct connection to a PLC analog input, DAQ card, chart recorder, or analog controller without any additional signal processing.

The amplifier provides regulated excitation voltage to the Wheatstone bridge (typically 5V or 10V DC), measures the differential bridge voltage (in the millivolt range proportional to the applied load), amplifies and filters it with a precision instrumentation amplifier circuit, and outputs a calibrated full-scale voltage (0–5V, ±5V, ±10V, or 0–10V) or current (4–20 mA) at its output terminals. Zero and span adjustments allow the user to set the output baseline and scale to match the PLC’s or DAQ’s input range.
